The brief:
A returning customer who valued the quality of our brands and our attention to detail. For their en suite, they didn’t want to compromise on beauty in order to have practicality. They needed storage options whilst incorporating decorative features.
The solution:
A space-conscious way to create a feature in a bathroom is lighting, it has a big impact without taking space from the room. We used décor lighting in the shower recess, under the WC and around the basin with strip LEDs and lighting built into the mirror cabinet and basin vanity unit. Building the wall out behind the basin highlighted this area of the room as well as giving an opportunity to run strip lighting down either side of the boxing. For practical purposes this also allowed us to build the basin taps into the wall to free up space on the basin top and recess a mirror cabinet into the wall for extra storage. Despite the bathroom being on the ground floor, we were able to install a wet room tray which makes the room look and feel more spacious.
We put a lot of thought into the colours and textures in the room as we wanted to keep it as light as possible whilst being beautiful and elegant.

The outcome:
The room turned out exactly as we had planned it during our consultations using the CAD system, showroom displays and colour samples. It is a bright and inviting room that looks stylish and fulfils all the necessities of a busy working family.
